Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success.
Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential. Through an innovative partnership between the business, community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA sparks students to develop competitive skills and confidence. Their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth.
Interested in Volunteering?
Volunteers play a key role in bringing Junior Achievement to life. By sharing your personal and professional experiences and skills with students from your community, you help them make the connection between what they are learning in school and what they will need to succeed in work and life. Junior Achievement make volunteering fulfilling, with flexible scheduling options. Our curriculum provides everything you need to make participation in JA interactive and engaging for students. Your JA experience will leave you feeling proud, and hopeful about a better future for our young people.
